Question: I would like to lose 25 pounds?
i am 6'1 and i weigh 215 17% body fat male . I really would like to get to 190. i work out regularly and i eat healthy. i was wondering if anyone could guess how long it would take and tips to help me get there please thank you

Answers:

There is no need to workout 2 hours a day, 7 days a week. That isn't even healthy.
Workout 4 or 5 days a week for 30-60 minutes. Strength train 3 days, with days to rest and recover in between.
You can also eat more than 2 meals a day, just learn how to eat in portions and make healthy food choices.
I usually eat more carbs on days that I do strength training.
On days that I do only cardio or no exercise, I try to limit my carb intake.
If you try to lose weight as fast as possible, chances are it isn't healthy and the weight will come right back on.
I can't tell you how long it is going to take, it really depends on how often you workout, what type of workouts you do and what eating choices you make. Plus some people just naturally lose weight faster or slower than others.

You have to get out of that chair and away from the front of that computer to get the exercise. See if you can find someone to work out with you so you are not so on your own with it. Stay way from Carbohydrates like bread and breaded foods French fries and heavy starchy foods. Your blood pressure will come down some when your weight comes down but you should probable be on some meds to control your blood pressure while you lose the weight.

Walking is damn good exercise and its free. Vegetables are your friend but once again not the starchy ones and not macaroni and cheese which I for one think is one of the best inventions in the culinary world. Drink a lot of water while you diet. it will help keep you hydrated and a little fuller. Carrot sticks and celery sticks and some fat free ranch dressing are tasty treats and make a good healthy snack for in between meals and an apple a day goes a long way. Don't forget to eat breakfast. Cantaloupe and low fat yogurt are great and strawberries and yogurt are wonderful too. A hand full of blueberries and a small bowl of raisin bran with skim milk or yogurt and raisins or strawberries is another good choice but cereal has carbs and if you want to lose weight you can't pig out on the cereal.

Remember, you have to decide to lose the weight and no one can do it for you. They can do it with you but not for you.



The below Diet plan is for 7 days
DAY ONE:All fruits except bananas. Your first day will consists of all fruits you want. It is suggested
you consume lost of watermelon and cantaloupe.
DAY TWO: All vegetables. You are encouraged to eat until you are stuffed with all the new and
cooked vegetables of your choice. There is no limit on the account or type. Avoid oil
and coconut while cooking vegetables. Have large boiled potato for breakfast.
DAY THREE: Any mixture of fruits and vegetables of your choice. Any amount, any quantity. No
bananas yet and no potatoes today.
DAY FOUR: Bananas and milk. Today you will eat as many as eight bananas and drink three glasses
of milk. You can also have I bowl of vegetables soup.
DAY FIVE: Today is a feast day. You will eat 1 cup of rice. You also have to eat six whole tomatoes
and drink 12 glasses of water today to cleanse your system of the excess uric acid you
will be producing.
DAY SIX: Today is another all vegetables day. You must eat 1 cup of rice today and eat all the
vegetables you want cooked and uncooked to your hears content.
DAY SEVEN: Today your food intake will consist of 1 cup rice, fruit juice and the vegetables you care to consume.
TIPS:
The most important element of the program is the 10 tall glasses of water a day. You can also flavour the water will some lemon to make the drink easier. While on the program, take only black coffee and never more than one teaspoon of oil. Preferably do not use oil because the high calorific content. No fruit juices before day seven.
The following soup is intended as a supplement to your diet. It can be eaten any time of
the day in virtually unlimited quantities. You are encouraged to drink large quantities of
this soup.
23 oz water
06 large onions
02 green peppers
03 whole tomatoes
1 cabbage
1 bunch celery add herbs and seasoning as desired.
After 7 days you will be five to eight kgs. lighter than 1 week ago. If you desire further weight loss, repeat the program again. Repeat the program as often as you like, however, it is suggested that you rest for three days before every repetition.



if i were you i would go for 180 just my opinion but still.

if you work out at least 2 hours a day and eat 2 meals and no Mcdonalds,arbys,taco bell,pizza hut etc.
so since 2hours x 7days a week- 2 meals i would say it would take about 2-4 weeks



ive lost 10 lbs in 8 days by eating small meals every 2 or 3 hours and jogging everyday for a mile (and increase the distance a little each week). i also weight train every other day
