what types of meat shouldnt you eat on a weight loss diet?!

Question: What types of meat shouldnt you eat on a weight loss diet?
im starting a diet, i've read loads of foods that are good to eat when trying to lose weight and loads of foods that are bad to eat when trying to lose weight.

it said ham is bad when trying to lose weight, do you think that means processed ham or ham in general? i want to know what other meats are ok to eat when trying to lose weight.

Answers:

Instead of saying what you "CAN"T" eat, I will say what the healthiest kinds are: Fish(salmon, tuna & sardines are #1), bison(great for burgers),white meat chicken(preferably skinless) or whole roasted chickens are great too, and really tasty! Ground Turkey is good as well, just sub it in for ground beef.

The biggest mistake that people make when dieting, is never realizing that the problem isn't so much as What you eat (though this is still important) as When you eat it. If you eat a horse on a morning for breakfast, there's a good chance that the energy gained will have been worked off by the time you go to bed: ergo you gain no weight. However, if you eat a horse before going to bed, then every ounce of horse-meat you've eaten will be transformed into body-fat and stored around your body while you sleep. Ergo, Mr Blobby falls out of your bed in the morning! Also, anything with diet, lite, lo-fat & especially Zero written on it's container MUST be avoided AT ALL COSTS when trying to lose weight. To cut a long story short Aspartame prevents your body from losing weight: even if there are no calories in it.

All ham is bad for weightloss in my opinion and as a fitness athlete. None of the competitors I know (and I know quite a few) eat ham. Processed meat of any kind is also a hindrance due to the amount of sodium. The best protein sources are white fish (wild fish preferred) like halibut and tilapia for example and meats such as lean ground turkey breast(organic if possible) , Organic lean beef, bison, buffalo, deer/venison.

Chicken is always a good option (cooked without skin) and eaten with no creamy sauces. Ham is only bad for you as it is always a bit processed. Any smoked food is thought to be carcinogenic if consumed in large quantities so eat them sparingly.

It is important to eat protein on a diet, you could also try eggs which are good for you and fish.

In relation to general loss of weight for any dietary plan its best to avoid red meat in general (ham pork steak etc.) most diets say stick with the healthier meats like chicken and fish, (not breaded) and keep read meets to a minimum. If your curious as to other kind of foods to avoid while dieting (this usually depends on the diet) ask a personal trainer and in most cases its to stay away from dairy grain products or any other fruits and types of foods high in calorie count, watch what you eat!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

hi, I did have a diet situation for so many years. I used to take all kinds of pills. Till I found this site, I had my doubts at first. I saw results after 1 week, but I was starting to love myself again. After dropping that initial weight, which was so uplifting, I worked on eating right to continue to keep the weight off. I can't remember that last time I was this light. I hope this helps: http://ultraloseweightfocus.tk

Yes ham, all of it is bad. As well as any other fatty meats. Means no more McDonalds, and fried meat. When you eat meat (and all the fat in it) a good amount of that fat is transferred to your body. Hope I helped.

You can lose weight by eating meat but watch out for processed foods which are not good for you/
they contain too much salt and additivies.
