Answers:

It all depends on what you are eating. Of course working out will help you get toned, but you need to eat less calories than you consume. If you weigh 117 pounds (I weigh 115), you should be eating roughly 1,500-1,700 calories a day to stay at the weight you are now. If you want to lose weight, I would recommend eating 1,200 calories a day. You will lose weight slow, but you will definitely see a different in 3 weeks. Just keep working out, and doing what you are doing. Also, the plank is an excellent exercise for you abs!

I think most probably you will well depending on your body. But eat healthy foods because if you dont all you would do is maintain your weigh but not really lose some. I have heard one is suppose to run 20 mins to maintain the weigh and do more than 20 min to lose weigh.. Btw maaan ur kinda close to my size im 5 1 and 121 pounds I also got to get in shape for prom =)

You should visit a calorie counter like this one:
http://www.shapefit.com/dailycalorie-cal…
And find out how many you need, and how many you need a day to lose weight. Don't do only crunches. It isn't balanced at all and it's a very elementary way of looking at weight loss (No offense really, love) And don't focus on how long you run, how far is what you should focus on. Perhaps half a mile (at least) every other day, for cardio, and then precision training every other day (the days you don't do cardio). Perhaps pilates or something, visit exercisetv.tv (I think that's the site) I do Nicole Stewart's Pilates Abs& Legs Slimmer and Toner. It works so well. Just give it all you've got! Focus on the way it makes you feel and don't be discouraged if you don't see change. Push through it. The pain will only be for a little while. good luck girly :)
I always pray before I work out ahaha, my little tip there x

Eat only when you hear your stomach growling. It’s stunning how often we eat out of boredom, nervousness, habit, or frustration — so often, in fact, that many of us have actually forgotten what physical hunger feels like. Next time, wait until your stomach is growling before you reach for food. If you’re hankering for a specific food, it’s probably a craving, not hunger. If you’d eat anything you could get your hands on, chances are you’re truly hungry.

yea, if you don't eat it back
