I'm a bit amazed that no one has told you that 130 pounds at 5'3" isn't at all overweight...not even in the slightest.

All you need to tone up your legs, get a flat stomach and thinner arms, however, is a treadmill. Cardio is full body fat loss, so running will help you get where you want to be. Start slowly at first...you want to probably try to get in 20-30 minutes of cardio, 3-5 times a week. Start with short bursts of running alternating with walking...for instance, run two minutes, walk two minutes on the treadmill for twenty minutes. As your body adjusts to the exercise, it will get easier to run for longer periods of time.

Diet is simple...as much fresh food as possible and as little overly processed food as possible. Lots of fruits and vegetables, and leaner meats (like chicken breast or turkey and fish). Give Greek yogurt a try, or eat light yogurt. And eat small meals throughout the day to keep your body fueled...six smaller meals a day works well for me.

Good luck!

that's not overweight, the average girl that's 5'3" is anywhere from 100 to 140 pounds. As long as you keep your diet healthy and try to avoid pop and too much junk food you should be alright. If you just want to tone up your body then try to do some crunches or push-ups, maybe some squats before bed every night or in the morning.. that should be all you need.
Keep in mind that when you're a teen your weight changes and your period and hormones go all crazy with weight to, so try not to worry about it too much. If you ever need to worry about your weight or lose weight your doctor will tell you straightforward, just don't become too set on losing weight, be happy with yourself right now, you'll still change lots before you're done growing.
Good luck with anything you choose to do, hope you get to a weight you are really happy with.

My brother is a doctor.

Always stretch before working out.
Every day, run about 15 minutes on either the treadmill or outside.

Do activities like push-ups, sit-ups, planks, bridges, and squats alternatively.

(Example: Pushups, situps, and plank on Mon, Wed, Fri/ Bridges, Squats, Superman on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday.)

Take a break on Sunday.

you should eat in proportions. eat vegies and meats most but a little wheat. as for excersising, you should do pushups for your arms, squats and lunges for your legs, and crunches and sit ups for your tummy. good luck(:

just work on being healthy and watch your portion size. change little things like not putting chesse in your sandwich and avoid snacking. go for a walk rather than a run. it burns better calories. or start a sport.

If you like pickles, eat them. They have no calories. Also, fish is good for you. Baked not fried. I'd try yoga if you have time. If you have a dog, walk it.

if u have a treadmill (to run on) running = toning your body out.. u probably only use it once a month..
use it 5 days a week half an hour a day.. u can loose alot of weight doing that..

just running 3-4 times a week will help. try to get exercise every day. gotta keep your metabolism goin

just eat healthy
