of course! healthy foods are ALWAYS good for you, and like the say, the more colorful, the better (in most cases). carrots are excellent. not only are they good for your eyes, but theyre good for your skin and make your hair shiny and soft. water clears your skin and keeps it from drying out. don't forget to eat lots of fruit. what I love doing it adding blueberries or bananes to Honey Bunches of Oates- it is DELICIOUS! the antioxidants help with stress and not getting sick, the fiber is good for your digestion, and they fill you up more so you feel fuller. also, almonds and walnuts and nuts and general are good snacks, as are raisins. eat these or crackers with a bit of sliced cheese and a cucumber slice (with fat free rand or mustard if you like) when you get a craving, and have water with it to curb your appetite.
for starters, it's absolutely necessary to do warmups and cooldowns. just do some stretching of all your limbs and your abs so you don't get sore, and a bit of cardio, like jumping jacks or jogging in place for a minute. do all this for at least 5 minutes, slowly. also put your hands on a wall and pretend you're trying to push it away. we did this in gym and it helped our arms, legs, and abs.
you could try pilates, which are great for stress relief and breathing, but I found them kinda hard myself. they ARE very, very good for working out though. Viveca Fox, who's trained Ashley Tisdale and Hilary Duff, does workouts that are both boxing and piloxing. I tried some for my abs and it's been working! Tony Greco, who helped toned the incredible-looking Carrie Underwood (she went from 6 to 2!) does mainly strength training that tones you all over and makes you strong. check his tips out, and read some of Carrie's own: http://www.thecelebrityworkout.com/2010/…
here's some extra ideas: http://www.shapefit.com/cardio-exercises… don't forget to walk everywhere! I read today that walking like you're in a hurry counts as cardio and I'm gonna try it. also, try exercising with your friends; it really helps you stay motivated.
sorry if that was really long. I love giving tips to be healthy! I read Seventeen magazine (bleh) primarily to learn their awesome fitness ideas.
Well I hope you plan on eating more than just a green salad and carrots. Basically, all fruits and veggies are going to be good for you to eat along with whole wheat carbs. However, since you said you wanted to build muscle, you are going to want to have protein and lots of it. So don't forget things like low fat dairy products such as cheese, cottage cheese, and milk and lean meats like fish and chicken. Try to limit red meat intake to once a week or less and drink lots of water or tea.
yea its good but i go on a drunk diet so basically its when u eat anything u want and exercise everyday. btw dont eat after 7:00 pm because its when u gain most wait and in the morning drink warm water with lemon because it can make u loose some extra weight. lol
