i want to lose three pounds a week, is it possible if i get the right diet and exercise?

Answers:

it's highly possible to lose 3lbs a week at that weight, but your losses will decrease as you lose body fat.

for optimal results, you have to weight train in addition to doing moderate cardio as well as following a fairly strict diet.

i'm not going to describe the whole program here, but i'd recommend doing 15 minutes of cardio in the morning to get your metabolism going, and then doing 25-30 minutes of cardio just before dinner. every other day lift, and do your 4 compound lifts - bench, squat, clean, deadlift.

with a decent diet, you could easily drop 3lbs a week.

5 years of football/wrestling & subsequent weight training.



Go on the weight watchers program. Just follow the point rules and you can loose the weight. My wife went on it in August 2010 and lost 35 lbs with out exercise It is the cheapest one too because you just use the food you normally buy. Do some cardio and you can loose more. I followed the weight watchers plan but but to the exact rules as my wife did. I did some cardio and weights and lost 17 lbs in the same time period.

Using the program myself, and others that are on this program. They all lost the weight.
