is it like doing exercise every morning? how many minutes or hours to spend for exercising in a day?

I went from 239.5 to 204.6 on my own by first cutting out bread,candy,sweets, potatoes and truth I didn't really exercise but 2 weeks before my lap band surgery I went on optifast shakes 3 times a day and nurtionist allowed a piece of fruit for snack and one meal at night that was either turkey or chicken burger {4 oz, I normally always eat alittle less cause i am not a big meat fan} with some veggies.
I was 204.6 when I had the surgery and I'm now 192.
I just start exercising at least 30 minutes a day.Just had lapband done 5/25/2010
