i am 18 years old and a senior. I weigh 265lbs and im 5'4 i have been struggling with my weight my whole life. i have PCOS so that also makes it a lot harder to to lose weight. I would really like your help on how to lose weight fast and safe. I would like to lose weight in time for graduation

You really can't use a dieting program... it isn't always safe, and the minute you'd stop you'd gain the weight right back. The most important part is counting calories. Always count them. Look for foods that are natural and low-calorie, and try to aim for 1500 calories a day. That is 500 per meal, and always drink water. Its going to be really hard, but it is possible. Another equally as important aspect is going to the gym. Go to the gym everyday, run for 30 minutes, then lift weights for 30 minutes. Muscle is slim, and you will lose the weight and be stripped down to muscle. You will also feel better about yourself, which is one of the most helpful things. I was a freshman in high school when i did this, and honestly I lost about 20 pounds in what seems like a month, the time flew by. I was not in your condition, but I guarantee this will work. You just have to work really hard. And if you ever feel the urge to eat a dessert or chocolate, creamsickles or fudgsickles are only 40 calories for one. Popsicles are also low calorie. Anything else, don't eat. Also avoid anything that doesn't say how many calories are on it, and DO NOT eat cafeteria food. Pack your lunch. Diet Soda is also a must, regular soda is a big problem. I really hope this helps, It is really hard, but its comfortable once you get used to it, and you will feel a lot better after.

I don't know about fast, but the safest way you can lose weight is through your eating habits and exercising.

(You can skip this next part if you eat healthy already)

First, adjust your calories! The average person should be consuming 2000 calories a day, and going over, would not be the healthiest choice. Make sure you don't start dieting and cutting down to eating like barely anything, because that's bad for you, and if you decide to cut down to lets say 1000 calories, and then you decide to go back to 2000 calories, you'll just gain more weight because your stomach is used to you eating only 1000.
Not only adjusting calories will work. Eat lots of healthy foods. Junk foods, fried foods, etc are all foods that will only add to body fat.
Something like a chicken breast salad, or switching to whole grains, would be a lot more beneficial.
Also, drink lots of WATER. It's good for you, and you should be drinking 8 cups a day anyways. Eating a lot of fruits will also help as well, and they also have a lot of vitamins, and is beneficial for your skin.

Next would be the exercise. Walk everywhere. It's good for you, and walking gives you lots of exercise. Also, walking quickly (speed walking) is more effective than jogging.
Get up early in the morning do some jogging or speed walking, whatever floats your boat (exercise is still exercise), take a shower, eat a hearty breakfast (you should be eating the most at breakfast and the least at dinner) and then go on with your day. Avoid eating after 6 or 7 in the evening. Yoga will also help, as well as pilates. Get a membership to a local exercise gym place, and do some working out there. You can also watch videos, I'm sure they'd have some on youtube, or rent some exercise videos and follow them.
Jumping rope each day is another good way you can lose weight.
If you want to lose weight, it's crucial to exercise for at least 30 minutes everyday, while you eat well. If you don't eat much but exercise lots, you'll make yourself sick. you don't want that.
But exercising more won't necessarily help you lose weight faster. Make sure you exercise in moderation. Too much of anything is never good for you.
After eating, walk around a bit, don't sit down right away. Make sure you digest what you ate before sitting or lying down, as the food you just ate will go straight to fat.
