Question: Why do people ask how to lose weight? .?
Everyone born in the last one hundred years knows that weight loss is a result is a result of eating corrently and getting exercise. Parents, schools, television, magazines and health care professionals all repeat the same mantra: Eat right and move your body. Through personal experience, most people have also learned that there are no quick fixes, and that fad-diets don't work. So why do so many people continue to come to this site, asking how to lose weight?

Answers:

well they have a desire to loose weight.they follow the plan start doing exercise and then after loosing few inches or few pounds.break away the shedule and return to <SPAN id=lw_1300989793_0 old habits and then they weight more than what they where in start and shapeless.
so they go asking again n again.
they need strong determination and a step plan which should go on climbing not a flight take off and then landdown.

I'd say it's because many of them do not understand their own bodies and how it works. Some actually don't know how to lose weight believe it not. Some don't realize that the difference between gaining and loosing weight could be one less coffee per day or less snacking between meals or being less active. There will be some that have gone from one diet plan to another and feel they have failed because they didn't reach a goal weight by a specific time. But I do agree with you, why do people ask how lose weight?



because everyone is a special individual, with different circumstances. They are all looking for the "MANTRA" that will work for them, the magic words that they can personally identify with and that will stay with them through the times when grandma gives them a chocolate easter bunny, their friend says "yoy look fine, come out and have some french fries with me", or Mom says "one cookie won't hurt". Dieting is mostly hard and involves standing up to change your food habits, when everyone around you is still eating with bad habilts.



The real answer to this question is that these people ask so they won't have to do any research themselves. They are lazy, and this laziness is a negative attribute that will not get them any closer to physical fitness.



Yeah it's really annoying. If there was a miracle solution, they'd already know about it. All of the questions get the same answer, "eat healthy and exercise"...I don't see why it has to be asked repeatedly.



Because everyone is hoping for a quick fix without having to put in the effort.



Because they are hoping that someone will find a fast and easy solution (that doesn't exist).

Duh



Because they obviously don't ge it



Their mind is too structured and used to school.

i agree with u.. theyre jst stupid n think theres an easy way to move a muscle and suddenly lose 10 lbs in a day..



ok the reason we " me" ask is to get personal experiences and find the one that works for us... and yes we could go to some stupid website or do research or the magazines.. but those website r not really reliable bc they dont go thro it they just say it.. we want to relate to somebody that has gone thro the samething.. and yall should well know that not everybody is made the same, they have different body and there bodys have different effects to different thing. like two people could do the same workout and give it all they got and get two totaly different results.. so when we come on here and ask that, we want opinion, experiences, and help bc what they have try already hasnt worked... and yea some of them think there r quick fixes.. but we soon find out that there r not... and its not really fair for yall to be so judgy when some of yall probly havent even went thro it... some people like myself have had to adjust bc i use to be inshape when i was play sports in high school but when i got out i didnt know how to adjust to everything bc in school u had sport to keep u inshape, sapport " your team", an some body telling u what to do and on the outside of high u dont u only have u, " ypour all alone"... so u really dont know anybody situtation either.. and gah if all yal know what to do then help some of the ones that dont... dont just down them, that only makes it worse..

experience.. and im not downing all on u, i read alot of thos answer and just thought they need some answer to.. so please dont jugde.. that the worse u can do to a person like me..
