Do I drink to much water?!

Question: Do I drink to much water?
So, water is good, but can I drink too much?My problem is bloating by the end of the day. I just figured it out and I drink about 85 oz of just water a day. I also sometimes drink a cup of coffee or iced tea.Can this be too much water and cause bloating? Thanks!

Answers:

Food has water also. If you drink 8 cups of water alone then you are more than likely right on the recommended intake of 11 cups daily for females. If your salt levels are high then, yes, it can lead to water retention. Just watch your sodium intake.

Well, water is definitely good for you and as long as it's reasonable, you can't really have "too much" since it doesn't build up in your body, you just pee it out if you don't need it. HOWEVER, if you go WAY overboard and drink like 2 gallons all in one sitting, you can have too much water in your blood causing your blood cells to explode, killing you... But I doubt you'll do that since your body will tell you to stop drinking water way before that point. But it has happened to some kids before when their moms or dads forced them to drink way too much water...

Drink whenever you pass a water fountain. Your body is excellent at telling you when you're thirsty or need water (the dry feeling in your throat.) Another way to tell if your thirsty is when you pinch the skin on the back of your pointer finger vertically then see how long it takes to go down. if its slow, it's a good time to drink. Also, get lots of good sleep. I read in a magazine that sleep choreographs the dance between grenlin and insulin, which are the like molecules that tell your brain that you need to eat/drink. when you don't sleep well or enough, the two dancers, grenlin and insulin trip up and forget to tell you to stop or start eating/drinking. (you know when you get that wave of sudden extreme hunger? or you stuff yourself with water not knowing when to stop drinking.) This is why not getting enough sleep could be linked to obesity problems.

And Kenneth is wrong, you'd drown before you've finished one gallon of water. Blood cells exploding... how stupid can people be?

a very official magazine.

Listen to your body, if you feel uuuuuuu are then lower the amount. Mean I don't even think about drinking, its like breathing to me. I ve no idea how much I drink. I just know I don't feel thrusty.

you can never have to much Water in my opinion but you need to listen to your body
