Why am I so hungry all the time?!

Question: Why am I so hungry all the time?
Hey!
So Lately I have been so hungry all the time, even though I eat throughout the whole day.

I take ice skating lessons, which cause me to be hungrier after. I'm thinking that I'm just hungry because I'm more active than I was before, but I'm starting to think I'm "abnormally" hungry.? I'm actually hungry right now as I type this. XD

Also I'm a 14 yr old girl. 94 lbs and 5'2.5

I gained alot of weight in a rather short period of time too, I was only about 88-ish? Lbs like a month ago. So I don't know

Answers:

I am seeing 3 reasons, all combined together.
1: Rapid weight gain can result in an enlarged stomach. Your body tells you are full based on how much is in your stomach, and the interaction of acids, foods etc. A larger stomach requires more food to fill it up.
2: Physical activity burns energy, or calories. Energy is derived from food intake. The more energy you burn the more is needed to be consumed to balance out your body. Not eating enough causes the body to consume itself, often starting with the fat and sugar reserves, which aids weight loss. That is why dieticians, scientists and doctors push for a varied balanced diet. If calorie intake equals energy expenditure weight remains stable and you don't get as hungry as often.
3: At 14 you are going through a period of growth. Your body is burning more fuel than normal, which requires more fuel to be consumed (see point 2). This is a perfectly normal thing to happen. Teenagers will always eat more food per body weight compared to other ages for this reason. 94lbs is not overweight for your age/height. Continue eating and concentrate on 3 large meals or 6 smaller meals per day. snack on fruit when hungry between meals.

Maybe you are getting your period or something it might be a change in your hormones too dont worry just try to not eat past 6 try it for a week you may lose those extra pounds !
:-)

it is becasue you increased your metabolism. Try not eating before 3 hours your bedtime.

Your Metabolism is fast. You can consult a doctor. It's the same problem with me but I don't gain weight as I get hungrier. lol :)

go to a doctor sounds serious
