Is a calorie truly a calorie?!
Question: Is a calorie truly a calorie?
Answers:
it depends on the person. Some people can lose weight eating junk food but lower calories but some cannot and are sensitive to carbs and sugar. For me it's all about the quality of calories and for others it's the quantity
Calories are just a measure of energy; they aren't the only thing in food that affects your body. Things like sugar are worse for you because sugar is burned immediately. So your body burns the sugar and stores the fat. If you don't eat sugar, your body will have to burn the fat, and it's therefore healthier for you. So yes, 800 cal of milkshake and 800 cal of cucumbers ARE different.
Amount is more confident than it is ridiculous, imo
The prevailing theory seems to be that weight gain/loss is a matter of CALORIES. you can lose weight eating junk food.
