Question: Im trying to lose weight so i want to start drinking a lot of water during the day but i really hate the taste?
of just plain water so i was wondering what mixes i can use to give it some flavor but that also do not have Aspartame, much calories, and fat in them....Any ideas?

You just need to get used to the taste of water. Human beings are biologically predisposed to LOVE the taste of clean, pure water. When people grow up hating the taste of water it's because they got used to sweet drinks and now their taste buds want all drinks to taste sweet. It probably won't take you more than a week to get used to the taste of water. Buy a Brita pitcher at your drug store. They cost around $20. Filter your water through that and drink it. You can put it in a water bottle to carry around. If, after a week of drinking filtered water you still hate it then you can start putting lemon, lime, or orange in it. I have also put slices of fresh ginger in my water and that tastes nice too. Just don't go out and buy one of those flavor packets. Those are just food dye and chemicals.



The water flavor packets do have aspartame, so if you are sensitive to that, you may want to avoid them. None of them have calories and Propel makes some that supposedly have more vitamins. What I did was I got a natural sweet herd called Stevia. They sell it in the vitamin aisle in packets just like sugar packets. The taste is kinda weird at first, but after a while I prefer it to sugar. But remember, getting the fluids you need doesn't have to come from water. You could have tea and ice tea sweetened with Stevia is awesome.

Try pure spring water or lemon is a good idea, don't use artificially flavoured water. It is a small price to pay to get the results you want and loose weight. Try plain tap water whenever you ar upto it. Good luck. You can do it. Oh yes, chinese tea warm water will also do it.



You can pour in drink mixes that come in a range of flavors and make the water basically into a juice. They usually come in boxes and each mix is a little packet.

Have you tried bottled spring water?

I find bottled spring water to have a cleanest taste. Tap water is treated with chems which might explain the bad taste if that's what you dislike about it.



My mom used Crystal light. Buy the hugeass container from costco and you have a year worth supply of lemon, or the other flavors.



Well, you could try Crystal Light. Or lemonade. Just take laxatives after.

Also, try Adderall. You will not eat a thing.



If you want to lose weight, simply drinking water won't help you do that.Excercise and eat less and healthier foods.
