What are some tricks you do to reduce calorie intake?!


Question: What are some tricks you do to reduce calorie intake?
Do you drink lots of coffee?

Eat fruits?

I am on birth control and for some reason when I am on it my body goes to 160 pounds and wants to STAY at 160 pounds. I was at 152 but as soon as I took those pills it was 160 all over again. I am tall and don't "look" 160 pounds I wear size 8 jeans and medium tops but I want to be back in size 3 jeans and 135-140 pounds. I mainly don't like my thighs (like most girls) and I think the extra weight is water retention, and some fat storage due to hormonal changes.

I have been cutting my calories to about 1200-1400 a day which I actually feel like I am eating MORE then I normally would by counting calories.

I am active I go to college and volunteer and I am about to get a full time job at a company called Gore.

I really want a cute body for when I graduate with my assoiates degree this May. I am having a little graduation party and want to have my pool open and not be embarrassed to be in a swim suit.

I don't drink soda or juice I drink water, I don't eat mammal meat for example lamb, pork, beef. I don't like cakes and things that are too sweet like cake. I do drink coffee but I always try to avoid the whip cream lol.

I LOVE watermelon its my favorite food and of course like 90% water so I have been snacking on that a lot. Any other advise?

my secret is eating less calories, i know it sounds weird right, but try it.

I really felt good about myself too.. just felt happy and good with great energy .... i also lost 6 lbs in the first 3 days and 14 lbs by days 6..... its worth doing for a week...



You're going about it all wrong. It's not the number of calories that matter, it's the quality of them. Eliminate garbage foods and eating the good stuff, and you can drop the counting madness. Sometimes the problem is that you're not eating enough calories. If you eat the right food, you should eat more. You just need to balance protein and good carbs (rice/potatoes) to make your diet work. What you should cut, rather than perfectly good protein like "mammals", is processed food, hydrogenated oils, subsitute butters, articifial sugars. You can have dark meat if you want, because natural fats are good for you. Fat doesn't make you fat, it actually promotes weight loss. Sugar is your number one enemy. Chemicals are number two. If you eat right, you can lose 3-10 pounds the first week, and cut 10% of your body weight in a month. But you should exercise too.
