Question: Are the protein drinks good for you ?
In your opinion, is this protein junk good for you ?

I feel like, drinking this stuff will make your belly fat & you'll gain a lot of weigh. Possibly even, mess up your digestion system. What do you think ?

I always feel weak, when it comes to working out. Doing 20 push ups for the past 2 months, has been hard for me. Heres what I look like;

Will that protein stuff help me ?

Answers:

There is nothing wrong with protein shakes. However there are no studies that show any more than 2g/kg/day of protein does any benefit. So if you are 100kg there is no reason for eating more than 200g of protein per day or if your 50kg then no more than 100. 2g/kg/day of protein is only recommended for high level endurance athletes or body builders in a growing phase. The World Health Organization only recommends .8g/kg/day for an average person.

Point being, don't waist your money on protein shakes if your already getting enough in your diet. Otherwise your body will convert it to fat or you'll pee it out.
