Best way for a woman like me to gain muscle mass?!

Question: Best way for a woman like me to gain muscle mass?
I am 5 feet 7 inches and 140 pounds. I don't mean to sounds gross or anything, But I want a pretty decent sized six pack (and it is possible for women to get them...) and I want to build a lot of muscle. What is the best way to go about this, for a woman? I don't want to be rail thin... I want to be muscular haha. Should I lose weight (fat) first, then slowly build up muscle? Or should I just continue with my strength training?

Answers:

You can eat all the protein, B vitamins brown rice etc, it will not give you six pack. Most ladies lucky to crack four pack, genetics will dictate that. Take up jogging, lose 3 or 4 lbs, add lots of stomach exercises and maybe a little bit of swimming, don't forget back muscles.

I cant seem to lose the fat on top of my abdominal muscle, regardless of how extreme the exercise I do or how complicated my cutting back with diet, (no starving myself please). There has to be an easier solution, cuz the fat over the stomach just won't give in. So I tried so many things, and I found this 2 weeks ago. This technique is awesome. I tried it for 2 wks and lo and behold the six-pack is starting to appear, Wow! in 1 more month & I'm pretty sure I will have the full six-pack, wish me plenty of luck! I stumpled upon this technique over here: www.eabsixpackinsider.tk

Protein and complex b vitamins.

eat a lot of brown rice, and lean meat

The best ab exercise is NO ab exercise. That is the truth. You use your abs with everything, if you focus running and perhaps boxing you'll notice a greater difference than if you do sit ups and leg ups for hours each day. Trust me. But working out will not deflate you, it will bulk up your muscle mass, like you want, but it won't show through the fat you have unless you diet and get it off. Doing lots of reps with light weights or few reps with heavy weights wont matter, you can do it till your arms fall off and you won't get "toned". The way to tone yourself is to trim down so the muscle can show through. You should work out while eating healthy to make both jobs easier.

The important thing is to keep a balance with what you eat, balance a carb with a protein for every meal. If you make a balance of protein and a carb with every meal, the right kind of carb like from a veggie or a fruit, rice, potato, quinoa, are the kind that will help you lose weight. Carbs like cereal, pasta, crackers and bread will not help you lose weight.

SUGAR is your enemy, not fat. Some low fat foods like orange juice, muffins, salad dressing and whole wheat bread may say they're healthy but they turn to sugar in your body. Too much sugar in your blood will make insulin turn it into fat, and too little insulin triggers cravings and fatigue. The right food will keep you in the middle where fat burning is possible. And know it's impossible to lose fat without eating fat, because fat does not make you fat. The truth is the right kind of fat will help you burn a ridiculous amount of fat off your body. The right kind promotes burning, the wrong kind stores it. Natural fats are good for your body, like animal fats, butter and eggs and nuts and olive oil. The bad fats are Hydrogenated oils, canola/vegetable oil, subsitute butters, a lot of soy products, artificial sweeteners, high fructose corn syrup. And most importantly processed food. You want to keep your liver working properly, so stay away from harmful processed chemicals, so it can break down fats and filter harmful substances. If there are too many harmful chemicals, it cannot properly break down fat. Food with only one ingredient will not overwhelm your liver, think steak, eggs, fish, fruit... And don't spend your time counting calories. Dropping the garbage and eating the good stuff, that's all it is. Sometimes people aren't eating enough calories. If you eat right you can eat more.
