what makes this a bad idea?!


Question: What makes this a bad idea?
I'm a little overweight about 25% body fat, and I weigh 192lbs, I'd like to get down to about 180. If I just ate about 1000 calories a day and exercise a bunch and drank a lot of water; what would be the downside to this?

Answers:

if you starve the weight off, which you are doing at 1000 cal per day, you are much more likely to gain the weight back. slower weight loss is more sustainable, because you build healthy patterns that you can continue with. don't be in such a rush.



if you don't eat for a little while, your body will rob its protein, carbohydrate, and fat sources for food. It will also lower your metabolism and make you more susceptible to disease.



There is nothing wrong with that.



You would be hungry alot of the time. That's pretty much it though.
