Question: Only eat fruit then workout= weight loss?
Okay, so this is like my 5th question on here about weight loss. If you can't tell, I'M SICK OF BEING OVERWEIGHT!

I lost a lot of weight (about 20lbs), but since my season is over, my weight has not changed, or is increasing. GAAH!

I recently bought a treadmill and I've interval trained on it for 30 minutes a day for three days now. I've lost 3 lbs. People say a pound a day is good, BUT I NEED MORE!

So, my weakness is food. Here's my question:

If I cut out all food and have a diet of a fruit in the moring, a fruit for lunch, and a dry salad for dinner, what will my weight loss be then?

I have a party coming up in about 30 days. I've always been the fat girl, or "pleasantly plump" as my friends put it, BUT ITS GOT TO STOP. I've been single for about 2 years now because boys don't even look my way. I plan on leaving this party with at least 5 numbers in my pocket, and the only way to do that is to lose at least 30 pounds.

Now my pound a day thing would work but I know i take in more pounds daily than i could ever put out. So that would just result in my weight staying the same, WHICH IS A NO NO

I know I've typed a lot, so incase you got lost, here's my question again.

I'm desperate. Please help.

Honestly, I think you need more nutrients for your body than just fruit. Your exercise plan sounds good, but just eating 2 fruits and a salad is not enough. Try eating some oatmeal for breakfast. It is SO filling and will keep you feeling satisfied until lunch.. For lunch, try having some baby carrots, an apple or banana and some cheese or turkey breast. Dinner, make sure you add more to your dinner than just a salad.. have a piece of fish or chicken, some brown rice and vegetables...exercise and you'll be looking hot for the party!! :)

Yes, you'll probably lose weight but you'll put it all back on again AND MORE when you start eating normally because nobody can survive on just fruit for the rest of their life. Your body will go into starvation mode so as soon as you start eating normally again it will ALL be stored as FAT, which will be 10 times harder to get rid of. Go to your doctor and get a healthy diet going. Fad diets do not work. You're looking for the easy way out or a quick fix but there isn't one. It takes hard work to lose weight sensibly.



You dont have to limit yourself to just fruit to loose weight. Infact fruit have a lot of sugars(natural) but I promise you its still not good if you overconsume in it and go too high on your sugars.

You can eat regular food in moderation as long as you keep a food diary and limit your calorie intake. Eating more then just fruit is important because other foods have other vitamins that infact help you loose weight. For example milk has 25% of your daily B vitamins which converts fat and carbs into energy. You can also take a B vitamin supplement. Getting all your vitamins is REALLY important, or else you'll end up looking like a scary skinny girl, not a healthy glowing skinny girl.

Make it a habit to drink 2 glasses of lemon water before every meal. This fills up your stomach with zero fat and calorie volume so youre less hungry.

I entered in my height weight and age information on MyFittnessPal, its an app on my blackberry, it keeps track of your calories and records everything its very helpful and free. If you dont have a blackberry it might be on iphones but they also have a website. I'm 120 and I have to eat 1200 cals a day to loose 2 pounds a week, just to give u a ballpark.

NO! that will make you lose weight! but thats not a good way to do it. it you do that then lose the amount of weight you want then start eating normal again you will immediately gain all the weight back PLUS MORE! make sure you NEVER eat less then 1200 calories a day. at a nutritional conference i went to today it said the have to eat to lose weight. also they talked about have dont limit your food just increase your workout. you need to have a healthy diet...trust me starving your self is not the answer.. you truly will gain it all back no matter how healthy you eat...trust me ive learned from experience. :/



In short..you need a high protein low carb diet..fruit is still carbs..stick to meat and veg.

You will be low on energy as you'll have little carbs but then the body is forced to use its fat sources for energy, hence lose weight. If you starve yourself, the body stores the food as fat knowing it won't be fed for a while so you gain weight, Eat little and often, every 2hrs, to stimualate your metabolism and the body will burn it more effectivly.

Also go for a 30min walk in the morning on an empty stomach..again the body has no food to burn as you've not eaten, hence it has to burn into bodyfat.

And lastly, Keep the faith.
