How many calories should you consume to lose 1lb a week, taking inconsideration !

Question: How many calories should you consume to lose 1lb a week, taking inconsideration your BMR?
Hello,

I know that going below a certain amount depending on your BMR will slow your metabolism and all websites give different information.

How much should a:

Female
22 years
10:8 stone / 148 lbs
5 ' 6 "
1505 BMR

consume to lose 1lb a week when sedentary, and how much when burning 200-300 calories through excercise? Also, how different would the results of being sedentary, being at university and being at university and excercising after be?

Basically, I don't want to enter 'starvation mode'.

Thanks in advance!

Answers:

eat 1300 calories and do exericse . Don't eat less calories than that.
it matters how much you eat, not how much to burn off so 1300 calories is good for whatever type of exercise. But if you do more than an hour of exericse per day, increase caloires by 150 more.

You need to have a deficit of 3500 to lose 1 pound of fat. The least you should eat is 1200 calories just to get all the nutrients you'll need then burn the 200-300 calories from exercise. Exercising does temporarily boost your metabolism for a while after so that will help you more than just eating less

Continue to eat as you are now. Just increase the level of exercise you do.

An extra hour or two a week should easily shift a pound a week.
