Question: Losing weight? Urgent help! Please?
I want to lose about 20-25 lbs. I'm not over weight, just a tiny but chubby. I want to be skinny for my 8th grade year. I have some questions first, then I will say my routine

If I'm 5'5 and I weight 146, and u want to be in the 120 range, will I be able to walk for 45 mins everyday at a fast pace and lose weight? Because I read if your not over weight, then you need to jog because heavier people lose weight faster from walking? Is this true? (if this is NOT true, then skip the question below)

If the above question is true, then can I still walk at a fast pace and then practice basketball for an hour (which will involve running and jumping) then would that pay off for the running?

MY ROUTINE
Wake up around 8
Eat one fruit for breakfast
Walk with my dog for 45 minutes
11:00
Practice basketball for 1 hour
12:00
Eat a salad or fruit salad (no dressing for salad)
Whenever my dad gets home, swim for at least an hour
5:00 play Dance Central on hard for 1 hour
6;00 eat dinner, whatever my mom cooks.

And on weekends I'll do the same thing except no walking

Is this a good routine? Thanks!

Yes you can lose weight from walking. Any cardio helps with weight loss! Your diet sounds good but maybe you should eat more from brekky and less for dinner. Your doing a lot of exercise so make sure you are eating eating enough calories, around 1500. GoodLuck
