How to gain 5-10 pounds?!

Question: How to gain 5-10 pounds?
Im male, 16 and 145 pounds 5'11. Im trying to reach atleast 155 to fill out, because im kinda streched out. I have a big upper body (chest, arms, shoulders) but i have a thin core, "stomach". And i do about 50 sit ups a day. For the past 2 months i have been eating high calorie foods, high calorie drinks (ensure plus), eating alot of meat, eggs, chicken, potatoes, soup non stop. And i only gained about half a pound. Its very frustrating so i just wanna know if imdoing something wrong and if so, what else should i do?

Answers:

I had the same problem in the beginning of this year I was 116 at 5"7 and people would call me frail everyday. I'm not 125 7 months later and none of it is fat. I was stuffing myself 5 times a day and not gaining any weight so I started to workout. 200 pushps everyday 15 minute core exercises and weightlifting with wrestling team 3 times a week. Nothing will make you hungrier and nothing will add some bulk to u. Btw people might think that it's hard to stick to but it was soo easy I actually had fun doing the pushups in the morning made me feel good about my self. Also muscle weighs more that fat so be trying to gain muscle not pure fat from eating more calories. And don't feel bad because you can't gain weight. Gaining weight is incredibly hard losing weight is the easy thing.

I think the reason your gaining a little weight
Is because your exercising a little to much!?

Less exercise more food!!

each day eat alittle more than you burn
