Try living on just fruits and vegetables... People don't care about nutrition they care about flavor, why do you think people eat fast food everyday?

wut you are saying is false, people on ketogenic diets dont have build up in their veins from fat, its when you combine carbs with fat is when it can be potentially harmfull but when u just eat fat all you burn is fat... ever hear of hunter gatherers?? all they ate back in the day was animals and food they could find from the earth, basically ketogenic diets

currently on a ketogenic diet all i eat is meat and fat and im at 10% body fat



Because they're delicious and a healthy part of my balanced diet.
Why do you insist on forcing your beliefs on others?
Different diets work for different bodies. As long as the meal is healthy there is no one diet better than the other (we're talking balanced omnivore V Vegetarian here, not someone who eats take away every day)



I just recently stopped eating meat, I've lost weight and overall feel so good about myself.
But its a personal opinion, I did it because I am interested in expanding my life longer than the average American woman (75, is it?) but most people don't think that far ahead. I have tried to help out family members looking to lose weight, but all in all the advice goes in one ear and out the other so I just worry about myself. ;)



if you stop eating meat and become a vegetarian and dont supplement yourself carefully you can become extremely anemic...thats when you dont have enough iron in your system, which is more common in females and is one of the reasons they turn to meat once more..not all meat is bad and is a great source of protein not to mention its darn flipping delicious..theres more but consider all of the facts before pushing your views on people.



I think that meat is constantly being pushed on us. I recently, this year, almost turned vegetarian. I only eat meat 1-2 meals a week on average. I feel better, lighter and less angry. There are too many hormones in meat, I think. I also think that we shouldn't eat it just because it's there. We should only eat it if we crave it. People aren't supposed to eat meat everyday. They should be more conscious of why they eat things.



People that know the difference between meats with a lot of fats and lean meats can enjoy the nutrition that those meats offer. If they do not know the difference between lean meats and meats with a lot of fat then they may experience some health problems later on down the road.

Where do you get your protein from? What kind of vegan are you? Lacto?



For the most part those that are being "killed" its because they eat in excess and are over weight.

The human body needs a variety of foods including meats, fats, and carbohydrates, as well as vitamins and minerals.

Taste is a major factor for those that do overindulge, have you ever just eaten one pistachio?



Um, because moderate consumption of fat and meat is important to health. Of couse anyone who eats it too much will have health concerns. Why do some vegetarians think they have to push their "morals" on normal people?
