How much weight would I lose if I only ate fruit and veggies for a month?!

Question: How much weight would I lose if I only ate fruit and veggies for a month?
I'm 125 lbs and 5' 3". I'm not going to do this.

If I only ate salad and other veggies, with other fruits like oranges and bananas, for a month, how much weight would I lose? I know you would lose some weight, but how much? Only water would be drank.

Answers:

Well, you would probably lose most of your healthy calorie burning muscle tissue, leaving you with a higher fat to muscle ratio than before, and with a slower metabolism (meaning easier fat weight gain in the future).

If you want to lose weight, all you have to do is reduce your sugar intake to very little daily, and limit your carbohydrate intake to only veggies, nuts, beans and such (with the occasional thing like brown rice type whole grain here and there). You also need a good intake of quality proteins and healthy, natural fats (even some natural saturated fats). Yes, fats from healthy sources are good for you and promote a lean healthy body. Only excessive sugar/carb intake beyond a certain threshold causes the body to produce hormones which cause excessive fat storage to occur (from every extra calorie, from any source).

It all depends on you body, I was a vegetarian for 3 years and never lost that much weight. However I can tell you that only eating fruit and veggies is bad for you. Your body needs other types of sustenance. If you do go on this diet take a dietary supplement as well so you don't get sick or weak.

Personal experience

in my opinion, i think you should consult with one of the trainers at a gym so that they can give you a better answer.
