Why can't I do normal sit ups?!
Question: Why can't I do normal sit ups?
If I try them on the floor, I just cannot get myself up. At all. I try them on my bed and I can at least get myself up, but my feet go in the air so they aren't "correct" and it's a struggle to do just one. So, what do you think is wrong? Do I just not know what muscles to use or something?
Answers:
I think part of your problem may be after the "crunch" part of the sit-up it becomes more of a hip flexor and lower back exercise. You might could try tightening just your core when you do them.
I have the same issue I'm 109 fit but doing sit UPS are not easy I can do it but I think its caused by how verluptious my butt is I don't have a huge butt but I don't have a flatts a** either. So that's what I think it is. Crunches still do the same thing as a sit up its just harder work to do a full sit up I have watched me in the mirror and my back and butt just don't look right
Crunches and sit ups use the same endurance, energy, and muscles. Maybe you are not doing them right.
