Gas can happen when you eat extremely large, fatty meals. It can also happen if you are lactose intolerent. It is also caused by trying to get your protein from carbohydrates(vegetables, fruits, soy, anything that comes grows from the ground). These kind of proteins have bonds that humans don't break down very well. By the time our bodies break them down they are in our colons, which creates gas and bloating. Hope this helps
