If I'm still sore from lifting weights on Saturday, can I still lift on Mon!

Question: If I'm still sore from lifting weights on Saturday, can I still lift on Monday?
Answers:

Yeah, go straight in for it and while you're doing it, you'll forget about the pain and you'll eventually get used to it and won't feel it after the next few days if you stick to it.

Take some light muscle milk or light EAS protien shake to the gym with you. I always bring mine in a lunch bag with insolation or fake ice, (it won't taste as good warm)

Here's what I do: Walk for 10 minutes stretch, then lift. After lifting and then stretch out the muscles you've worked.(doing stretches after keeps your muscles from getting sore) Once your done stretching guzzle your shake. You'll find your soreness from your workout cut in half if not nonexistent.

Anytime your still sore after lifting give your muscles a break until they stop hurting. Your gonna be sore sometimes at a 3 day stretch at first. Don't lift where your still sore, muscles need time to repair.

I lift either 2x per week full body or 2 days chest, back and arms and 2 days of Legs and Abz. I try to get 2 full bodies done in a week. But, if I'm sore I always wait a day or two.

Drink a shake, do what I suggest, and you'll feel better.

My Mom and Stepdad hold state weightlifting titles in the state of Florida. They are both over 60 and have taught me all I know. If they can lift and not get sore (let alone hold a title) so can you lol!

Only excersize/workout a muscle once or max twice a week with atleast 2 days rest in between!!! If you keep on wrking the same muscle again and again, your just breaking down the muscle and not letting it rebuilt/grow. And only workout if that certain muscle is feeling ok and is in good condition.

Experience, reading, and my dad has been coaching me in weight lifting for about 1 year now and im pretty buff, and healthy. (fit)

Yeah just stretch before hand. Your body will eventually get use to the workouts you are doing and your muscles won't be sore anymore.

Yes.Go for it.After a workout you will feel a little sore but after 48 hours your body automatically adjusts itself.
