Question: When i am counting calories on food ???do i count calories from fat or just calories in general?
i am trying to gain weight

Answers:

Ideally you would want to break it down to about 35% protein 45% carbs and 10% fat.

I lost 60 pounds controlling just my Carbohydrate calories.

But generally speaking you cant ignore fat calories, or eliminate carbohydrate calories for extended peorides of time.

We do not digest fat well and the accumulation of fat in the stomach is one of the triggers to tell us we have eaten enough stop eating. So eliminating it is not necessary.

Carbohydrates provide the preferred energy for our body, we are very well adapted to digest and store them. Just from a between the ears point of view they are also bulky taking them out of the diet takes a lot of bulk out of the diet leaving you feeling hungry. Fiber is a good replacement but not always easy to find or make taste good.

Start by taking on one food at a time and getting control of how much of that food you eat. Remember you are making long term changes in eating habits so start with things you wont miss much.

For me the first thing was reg soda to diet soda, then potatoes then....

Take on one thing at a time the goal is to gradually 3 weeks to 2 months get to a way of eating that let you louse weight.

eat alot of protein foods with high calories
