Jump rope. Can burn a ridiculous amount of calories. 700 or so an hour once they get good enough. Even at a slow pace it's good exercise, and it's fun!
Otherwise almost any sport, running, biking, hiking, swimming, etc will help get fit. Most importantly just find something she enjoys doing.
Every single day, I run approx. 5 miles (2 days a week I do intervals) with a track club. I also have to walk the dog 2 miles up the escarpment and back before school. I also do core exercises with swimming and biking almost daily.
I would suggest waking up early and walk for 45 minutes or start a running club. Also, join the community center to swim, bike, play basketball... after school min.3 days a week.
for a girl, i doubt you want to get muscular, so just go for a brisk walk or a jog for 30-45 minutes a day. that will maintain your weight. and keep you fit
