Starting to workout at gym, what do i do? pleaaaase help!?!

Question: Starting to workout at gym, what do i do? pleaaaase help!?
Okay, so Im turning 16 in about two months. Im a guy, 5'10, and roughly 163 lbs. I just have some lower belly fat, and love handles, anmd I really wanna lose them, and get a nice set of abs by the end of June. I just signed up for a gym, i have to take transit to get there, so that seems to demotivate me a bit, any tips, coz sometimes im just too lazy to go? Also, can you please give me a good site that I can get intense, good workouts from? I want to put on muscle, and lose my lower belly and oblique fat, its not a lot, and I think I just need to tone up. Also,m what exactly should I do at the gym, and im not playing a sport this spring, so how often should I go|? thanks

How far is the gym? is it possible to walk or run there? If so then you could get your cardio in that way and then do resistance training or weights at the gym. This will help you to lose fat and gain muscle. And you could take the transit back if you don't have the time or if it's too much in one day.

If you prefer to take the transit there, then start with at least 30 minutes of cardio on the treadmill, elliptical or stair-climber. If you're like me and get bored quickly, you can do ten minutes on each.

Try to get to the gym as much as possible. Plan your week ahead and dedicate which days you want to go. When you don't feel like going, take it one step at a time. Just tell yourself all you’re committing to is getting dressed and putting your shoes on. Once you've done that, just say "now put on your coat and walk outside." Usually by the time your standing outside the door it's easier to get yourself in the car or to the public transit and once your on your way you're not very likely to turn back until you've finished your workout :) If you really just can't get up the motivation to go, have a workout prepared that you can do at home in 20-30 minutes, so your getting some exercise still without the big travel and time commitment.

Also, in order to lose weight and gain muscle you have to eat properly. Make sure to eat a good breakfast every day. Choose lean sources of proteins e.g.- fish, poultry and legumes. Drink plenty of water; 64 oz a day is recommended and eat 4-6 small meals throughout the day to keep your metabolism boosted.

I hope that helps,

Good Luck!

Cardio, good nutrion and a higher intake of water might add in the fat loss . (weight Your shelf before doing cardio and if you lose 2-3 lbs drink 1 fl oz. of water for every pound lost)
Go to the gym 6 days week or every other day if you need more rest.

My workout:
Chest and Tris on Monday.
Run 4 miles Tuesday.
Back and Bis on Wed.
Run 4 miles Thurs.
Shoulders and legs on Fri.
Run 4 miles on Sat.

For every muscle group I do 4 sets of 8 reps (as much as I can handle).

It really depends on what you want, because you are 16 you don't really want to do things like huge bench presses and bicep curls. Before you go to the gm you want to pick a specific muscle group i.e. abs and shoulders. When you get to the gym what you want to do first is warm up, do around 10 minutes on a cardio machine. You can alternate between medium and high intesnsity. After that, make sure to do a good long stretch particularily focusing on the muscle group you are aming at. After that you want to do some muscle specific exercises, in this case you could do crunches holding a disc weight, or oblique rotations w. medicine ball, or even plank (I suggest you look these up) Instead of doing very heavy weights try to go for reps instead using 60-80% of your maximum weight. Once you are done doingyour excercises go for another 5-10 min on a cardio machine on light. Then do a very good static stretch. You should repeat this muscle group every 3 or so days. In between work on other muscle groups, and do cardio, it is very important I suggest doing a run at least twice a week trying to build up how long you can go for. I think that if you want to get fitter fast, aim for going 5 times a week, that gives you two days to rest. Make sure that you always change up you exercise, this makes it more exciting. Also, get a friend to sign up with you, that might keep you from being lazy! And bring music :). I hope I helped!
P.S. MAKE SURE YOU EAT WELL!

I cant seem to lose the fat on top of my abdominal muscle, regardless of how extreme the exercise I do or how complicated my cutting back with diet, (no starving myself please). There has to be an easier solution, cuz the fat over the stomach just won't give in. So I tried so many things, and I found this 2 weeks ago. This technique is awesome. I tried it for 2 wks and lo and behold the six-pack is starting to appear, Wow! in 1 more month & I'm pretty sure I will have the full six-pack, wish me plenty of luck! I stumpled upon this technique over here: firstabsixpacktoday.tk
