Who's tried Mark Rippetoe's Starting strength?!


Question: Who's tried Mark Rippetoe's Starting strength?
Just some questions about this workout!

1. Who has done this workout routine and did it work well for you?

2. Does it also build muscle mass?

3. How long is a workout session with this routine suppose to last? 15/20 minutes? 30 minutes?

4. How long between set's am i suppose to rest? 60 seconds? 90 seconds?

5. Is this workout a good workout routine to do for a month or more before starting a full-body workout?

It's a pretty good workout. 5 x5 seriously does help a lot for strength, though I wouldn't completely follow the program. I would do 5 x 5 along with 5/3/1. Workouts usually take no more than 40 minutes. If you rush through it takes like 25-30 minutes. You rest 3 minute in between sets so your muscles fully recover. But also realize, you don't want to live or die on a program. Try out both 5/3/1 and 5 x5 and take what you like the best or what works well for you from both and make it your own.
