Question: What do you recommend for weight loss and fitness; 30 minutes 6 days a week or 3 3 hour sessions a week?
The 6 x 30 minute ones would be 3 of 15 minutes treadmill and 15 minutes weights and 3 of 2 15 minutes treadmill walks.

or

3 x 1 hour of 15 minutes treadmill, 15 minutes weights, 15 minutes treadmill and 15 minutes boxing bag.

Answers:

Both workouts you proposed sound good. But if I had to guess the 6×30 min ones might be best for weight loss because you are getting your heart rate going at a higher frequency (6×a week) such should translate into more weight loss. Good luck.



I've read numerous times in fitness mags that frequent shorter sessions are better for fat loss.
