How long should I workout a day to see results?!

Question: How long should I workout a day to see results?
I know theres probably a wide range of answers to this question but just in general how long should I work out to see big results?

Answers:

If you're completely untrained right now, you'll start seeing results fairly quickly. On a balanced strength training and cardio routine, with the proper diet to match even just twenty minutes a day of exercsie can create good results.

You have to get the whole picture though. Cardio, strength, and diet.

I'd say workout an hour a day at a minimum. If you want really top end results it's more like two to three hours per day, five to six days a week. And you have to give it around a year to let the results really show themselves. There's no quick fix. Anyone who says different is selling something.

The anwer isn't in how long you should workout, its in the quality of your workout. Muscles grow and respond most efficiently when they are brought to the point of failure. If you can get your muscles to fail using a few sets. That's plenty. I have competed in bodybuilding and have great results in doing a technique called "SuperSlow". Using mostly Machines with cams. Like nautilus. I workout my whole body in 40 minutes. (
TWice a week. That's all u need. People who spend hours and hours in the gym 5-6 days a week... Probably don't know what they are doing or don't understand how muscles actually grow

If your just starting out take it slow at first 20 to 30 min a day at first is a good start. Hour work outs every other day after you get used to your routine you body needs to rest to recover to see gains when you lift weights.

I've been lifting for 5 years it takes 8 to 12 weeks to see results.

One hour continuous lifting with no more than a 2 min rest between any sets for any muscle group with 15 mins cardiovascular at max heart rate
