How can I lose weight on my thighs?!

Question: How can I lose weight on my thighs?
So I'm in middle school and my thighs r big:( don't tell me not to care cuz I'm only in middle school... I wanna be healthier more than attractive... So I can't go to a gym or walk to school. I have a bike and a jumprope..what do u do to lose weight on your thighs? Also I don't eat that much junk so I only need excersizes:) thanks

Answers:

I'm going to start with diet- Don't eat any greasy foods, they go straight to your thighs. Avoid chips, french fries, hamburgers/hotdogs. Or sweets like chocolate, cake, sugary pastries.

Exercises... I found these videos on youtube, they are exercises that help lose weight-

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E63OUoRuC… This is a 10 minutes cardio work out. It helps you lose about 150 calories each time you do the exercise.

Good luck!
Hope I helped!

1) There is no such thing as "spot reduction", so get rid of the idea of "losing weight on my thighs". Your body doesn't lose fat in one area and there is no possible way to do that besides physically removing the fat from an area (liposuction).

2) Instead, your body will lose fat equally from all areas of your body through a concentrated fat-loss plan, unless you have a significant amount of fat in one area. In that case your body will get rid of that fat first. However, unless you have a "beer belly" this is very unlikely, especially on your thighs.

3) If you are serious about losing body fat the most important thing you can do is educate yourself about HOW to lose fat. Most people have no idea and they just trust some diet fad or a friend. 90% of weight loss advice is either unhealthy or just wrong.

4)Set yourself up for success by reading a reputable book on fat-loss, consulting a personal trainer or diet professional, and then setting goals. Hold yourself accountable and try to get other people involved to help you with the process. Fat loss is not easy on the mind or body, but once you reach your goals you will be more confident than ever.

Good luck and check out some of these sources for general fat-loss information.

I was really struggling to lose weight and basically came down to a few things that I was doing wrong (one of which was low fat doesnt mean things that are bad few: ie corn syrup / fake sweetner etc). I hate to do a sales pitch but my friend pushed me to a site (www.organicsizeme.com - her friends family that made some changes and decided to publish its). Anyways, it was pretty good for me since I honestly had been on the low calorie etc with some results but not nearly enough. I made a few changes and it honestly helped out beyond belief.

They also wrote a quick reference guide, just an fyi:

Please answer mine !

hard to target one area, weight loss is as you loose it. this will help you and help set up a life time of good habbits.
After spine surgery I gained 60 plus lbs. From family being nice and giving me all the things I wanted. From the surgery I could not exercise and walking was a chore. So with spine damage and no chance at exercise I remembered what my high school coach told me.
“It calorie in and calorie burned” The way to burn weight is burn more than you take in. If you do this you will loose weight. So I counted calories and I nearly starved.
I started reading the diets out there. Atkins and south beach. Tried Atkins and lost weight. After loosing several lbs I shared the diet with friends and it worked for them as well. One fellow went from size 48 to 38 pants, stopped taking BP medication and stopped taking diabetes medication. Ate eggs and bacon for breakfast and life was good. I just had trouble holding to the diet. In time I gained the weight back. After the yo-yo dieting and radical eating soups and such, I started to do the common sense diet.
I found something that works and I plan to write a book on it. In the mean time I am will to share this much. The more your bowels work the better you will feel. Turn your diet into a high fiber diet and the more you eat the more you will loose. I find that “Total” raisin Bran will speed your digestion. So eat two or three bowel per day. Salads of fresh veggies will help as well. Yes, use dressing of some type and you need fats. Whole milk, (have documentation to prove it). And Metamucil in the mornin and after noon will help clean your bowels and keep you going. In time you will be able ot eat most any thing you like (as long as it makes you poop) and eat all you like. Things like steak with fat and good cuts of meat. Stay away from burgers and processed foods. Chicken meat and good cuts of pork are OK.
If you snack at night eat the Raisin bran and it will move you in the morning. No white bread, high grain breads are OK.
You need to eat 5 or 6 times per day. From early morning on. Eat small meals and in the am add fresh fruits.
I promise you will loose weight and in time start feeling much better. I have given this info to many people and all have lost weight,. None have had medical problems from it.

I wish you the best.
