Was this too much to eat on my diet??????????!

Question: Was this too much to eat on my diet??????????
Ok so here is what I had today:
Breakfast:
1 peach
1 apple

Lunch:
1 small portion of salad (plain; no dressing)
2 egg whites
5 saltine crackers

Dinner:
2 apples
4 tsp of jif peanutbutter
1 medium bag of frozen fruit-140 cals
2 servings of lean turkey -45 cals/serving
half a cup of yogurt
1 bowl of plain salad-lettuce and cabbage

I am going to run on the treadmill for about 1.5 hours to burn the peanut butter I had. I am 132 and want to lose about 10 pounds (I have already lost 8). How long will it take me and was this too much to eat?

Answers:

Count your calories & try to shoot for about 1300 - 1500 calories a day when you're on a diet. I don't think you're eating enough. First problem though, you're starving yourself in the beginning of the day, so you tend to eat more at night. Bad idea. Make your biggest meals at the start of the day & leave the smallest one for dinner. When you start out with a bigger breakfast, you have the whole day to burn it off, but when you eat a larger dinner, you have a shorter amount of time to burn the calories off & you don't burn off too much energy when you're sleeping either.

Lean turkey, eggs, yogurt, fruits, & veggies you have in your diet are spot on for weight loss. They have a nice complex protein, fiber, & carb structure that will help you stay fuller & build muscle & burn fat faster. Try to switch out the saltine crackers for some whole grain Triscuits, because they are a lot more healthier & beneficial to your weight loss. You don't need to completely avoid breads & carbs in your diet either, you'll be happier if you eat them. Just try to aim for whole-grain products & a serving where you can get two slices for under 200 cals.

It sounds like this diet is becoming somewhat of an unhealthy obsession as well. I've struggled with my weight & eating the majority of my life, so I know where you're coming from. About ten minutes of running will burn about a 100 calories. You don't need to do almost two hours of running to burn off what you've eaten; it's just going to burn you out quicker. Keep in mind the quicker you loose weight, the more likely you'll put it back on just as quickly when you get off of your diet, so pace yourself.

Anyways, good luck darling. I hope you reach your goal. (:
