What Do You Crave (if any) after you workout?!


Question: What Do You Crave (if any) after you workout?
Seems lately I crave milk after working out. I don't know why but when I come home instead of grabbing water (which i drink plenty of while working out) I reach for the milk and drink about two glasses!

How about you?

IMO milk is the best post workout "food" you can have - great balance of carbs fat and protein and the lactate/lactose is a nice sweet taste which helps recover from that totally energy sapped feeling.

So I'd have to agree on milk

when I have been destroyed on leg days (squat session) I like more fruit than usual too - so when I have my post workout shake I want a big hand full of grapes or kiwi fruit.



water usually, ive read milk is good though since it's higher in protein, choco milk is even better, of course you do have the higher sugar content



Milk..chocolate or strawberry flavored....and energy/power/cliff bars....both are loaded with protein to which aid in muscle repair,strength, and recovery
