Question: Im a fourteen year old boy and my weight is 8 stone how can i lose weight?
okay so i was 14 stone before i went on my diet and now im 8 stone i really don't like my weight no one says anything i just don't like it.. this is what i have a day.

breakfast:
weetabix + banana

lunch:
a orange or banana.

tea:
something like stew.

then that will be it for the day i don't eat between meals i walk home and sometimes i will do dancing as well someone please help me..

First of all well done for losing 6 stone! That's great!

But you really don't need to lose any more weight... 8 Stone is completely fine for a boy your age.

By the sounds of it you are getting exactly the right amount of exercise, but YOU ARE NOT EATING ENOUGH. Breakfast and tea are great, you're eating really well. But a piece of fruit for lunch? Not enough. Take the fruit, but please have something else. If you want to be healthy, try a salad or some pasta in a tomato-based source. But really, you don't need to lose any more weight :)

Be a 14 year old lad and enjoy your life, which means eating what you want and not worrying about the weight, because your weight at the moment is good :)

You haven't said how tall you are so I can't tell what would be a healthy weight for your age and height. Your diet doesn't look that healthy though, where is the protein, vitamins and minerals? You would be better off with a salad and protein based lunch and could even have a salad based sandwich, an orange and banana just isn't enough.

Good work though on the 4 stone loss - its a real achievement - now get yourself on a healthy maintenance diet to make sure you stay healthy and keep the weight off.



For a boy who is growing, you are a perfect weight. Congratulations for losing some weight, but don't go over the top! Just remember to have lots of dairy products, bananas are also good in the mornings as they give you high energy levels..

and I weigh 100 pounds.

112 pounds isn't even fat for your age or height.

I heard if you eat a good big breakfast, which is the most important meal of the day...you won't be as hungry throughout the day..

14 pounds in a stone. You don't need to lose anymore weight, that is too low already for a 14yr old boy.
