Will these activities help me lose some weight?!


Question: Will these activities help me lose some weight?
Every night I go roller blading for 20-30 minutes, and I'm going to start biking for about the same amount of time. I also try to use my elliptical machine every few days, but while using it my thighs begin to feel.. weak not even a minute in, same with biking. I also try to walk whenever I can, instead of getting a ride.

I'm watching what I'm eating as well. So will this ^ help me lose weight?

BQ: Is it just lack of using my thigh mussels that is causing the feeling of weakness? It's only my thighs that feel weak.. and afterwards my legs feel like jelly.

Thanks! If you could tell me how long I should be on the elliptical each day too, that'd be great!

Answers:

It just means your legs are tired, sore, and not used to that kind of workout. Do your workout as much as you can and your legs will get stronger so you can do longer the next time. It's quite normal to feel like that. You should be able to lose some weight, but if you feel up to the challenge, add in more exercise, it will only help you lose more weight faster.



Your problem is that you only go for 20 minutes. it takes about 20 minutes for your body really start burning calories. What ever exercise you decide to do you need to do it for between 40 and 60 minutes.
