Is it bad to take two different supplements everyday?!

Question: Is it bad to take two different supplements everyday?
I'm planning on taking Rhodolia Rosea and St. john's wort the same time everyday.

Answers:

Ask yourself a few quick question first - Do you have a well balanced diet? plenty of fruit and veg, oily fish, limit red meat to once or twice a week, don't eat food with hydrogenated fats (fat that goes solid and clogs your arteries!), do you keep refined sugar to a minimum(it's carcinogenic), and alcohol within acceptable limits without binge drinking? Do you smoke - if so, give it up, just think of all that money going up in smoke. Do you exercise moderately - even a good walk 2-3 times a week is enough.

Now if you already do that all that is great. If not, it's never too late to start no matter what state your body is in.

So why do you feel you need supplements? A healthy diet, moderate exercise and the only additional medication you should ever need is prescribed drugs,. If you're going to take St.John's wort because of depression, it doesn't work, has a lot of side effects and interacts with just about any other supplements or prescribed drugs you may take. It'll do you more harm than good - go and see your GP instead. Self prescribing supplements can be very, very dangerous.
