Exercising and dieting, but I'm getting bigger!?!

Question: Exercising and dieting, but I'm getting bigger!?
I've been consuming 1200 calories a day, with around 15 minutes of cardio and some strength training, but my legs have gotten bigger and the number on the scale is also increasing! HELP MEEE!!!

Answers:

You'll gain muscle but that's GOOD. The more muscle the more your body burns calories! Keep working at it and don't get discouraged.

you might be building a little muscle or you could be getting fat because if your body doesnt get enough calories then it will think you are starving it and will store everything you eat as fat. so try eating more calories of fruits and veggies for a while and see if that helps

Yeahh....your legs got bigger because of the strength training, but after a while they should get smaller when you lose more fat. And your number is increasing because muscle weighs more. This is a good thing !

Go to 60 minutes of cardio and 30 of strength. If you are not getting anywhere pump up the exercise...

you have precambrian worms in your legs and they're gonna become dinosaurs soon! Get help, seek help, you must get help!

muscle weighs more than fat.
