Do you sometimes put off your diet plan until Monday?!

Question: Do you sometimes put off your diet plan until Monday?
I do this sometimes before I start my weight loss journey. "oh its wednesday...not today..its in the middle of the week. I'll just start monday."

Then when I cheat on monday, or tuesday, I think "ok next monday."

lol..and then the year passes.

do others do this or is it just me? Its the psychology of starting on monday - seems like good luck.

Answers:

Yeah I know what you mean, I used to do that, and sometimes used to do that while following a plan. I found it best to make little adjustment to my diet along the way of a workout plan that I created. Plus Rome wasn't built in a day, is how I look at it. And as you progress you can make more changes as your fitness increases, or sometimes you even challenge yourself as you see results, because knowing that restraining yourself from the temptation is telling me how big of a change I am going to see.

I do it all the time ! If your struggling with keeping up with diet, trying finding things that will motivate you. Like saying "If I start today and actually work hard towards it, then later I wont have to say its too late and say I wish I started that day." Keep positive thoughts in your head and try not to think about food. I always do the "Oh I'll start tomorrow or Oh I'll start Monday" thing! Recently I've been doing well, but I still cheat sometimes. Instead of Monday, trying starting tomorrow. Sounds better ! But you are not the only one, don't worry.

Monday of what year? :)

Yes! Or ill just wait til the next day and stuff my face the night before... :/

this is why america is overweight. diets dont work in the long run. a healthy lifestyle does!
