Question: Help im trying to lose weight?
Im going to visit my country Brasil for the first time since i was 6 on June 1st for like 2 months nd i wanna look good. I weight about 156 pound and im 5'4...i am 14 years old and my ideal goal is 120 or around that. Any tips on great affective exercises and like foods I should be eating and foods I should be looking out for.

I want to loose fat from my arms, legs and stomac and some boob fat too. Any good exercises and how long I should do them for?

any great way to keep having will power and not give up so today its March 30th I have till June 1st do you think if I work really hard and eat right I will be at my healthy weight by then? Keep in mind im not only doing this to get skinny but I want to change my life style too. Hey! I think it's great that you are trying to lose weight in the healthy way, by working out. To get in good shapes, you need to do BOTH of the following:
1. Dieting or eating better
2. Cardiovascular exercise
3. Strength training (optional)

DIETING
-Drink LOTS of water. Water helps to wash out your system plus its good for your skin and hair! Try to get at least 8 cups a day.
-Spicy foods! Try to eat spicy foods often, because they burn through you faster, which is good for your metabolism.
-Fruits! A great way to get your fruits in is make a smoothie! You can look up great healthy smoothie recipes online, depending on what fruits you like. A good smoothie has milk, a banana, orange, strawberries, blueberries, you know what I mean. You can also get your fruits in by just eating an apple in the morning, strawberries for a snack, banana with your lunch, maybe some blackberries as a snack, and you could throw in a fruit salad after dinner!
-VEGGIES! It is very important to get your vegetables. A great snack is those little carrot stick things that are cold, or make sure to get vegetables at dinner, like a salad, broccoli, asparagus, or green beans. Try to eat as much veggies as you can.
-Take your vitamins! Don't forget to take a daily multivitamin, or vitamin supplements every single day. These can do magic! They can boost your immune system, help your skin, hair, nails, and help you stay healthy and keep your body happy!
-Try to stay away from sodas, chips, unhealthy snacks. If you've been eating good for awhile, you can reward yourself with maybe some skittles or a soda, but besides that, TRY your best to stay away. A better replacement for soda is lemonade, or cranberry juice. Apple juice is also really healthy. Whenever you want candy, eat some of your favorite fruit!
-Stay away from trans and saturated fats. Sometimes you can't avoid it, but try to get things that have the good fats in them. Make sure you always read your nutrition labels, and watch those calories!

EXERCISE
One of the main contributors to weight loss is exercise. Cardio exercise is how you burn off calories before they turn into fat.
-Running is a great way to burn off some extra calories. If you don't have anything to do one afternoon, grab your iPod, water bottle, and dog, and head out for a run! You can always take it easy and jog, or go for a nice long walk.
-Biking is also very fun. Go with your family and bike a couple miles. Great way to get exercise
-Hit the gym! You could also hit the gym and go on the treadmill or elliptical machine or bicycle; that's always a lot of fun for me, and I'm only 13!

STRENGTH
The last thing to lose weight is strength training. Muscle actually weighs more than fat, but it makes you feel and look so much healthier, and you will be so much more capable; don't you want abs?
-Dumbbells. Grab some 8 lb dumbbells and get to work! Look up different exercises you can do.
-Pushups. These are the best. They work everything.
-Sit ups. For abs.

-You can always look online for other strength exercises, especially if there is a particular area you want to focus on.


Also just keeping a happy outlook on life will make you feel so much better about yourself and way more confident!

No, no, no, no, NO! Do NOT listen to Eli Heit. He is no doctor. No doctor would EVER tell a teenager to use a diet pill. Over the INTERNET no less. I hope he gets reported, because he is a sick LIAR.
I would definitely just google "healthy eating for teens" or "healthy eating habits for teens," etc. Also, google things like "fun exercise routines" and stuff.

Oh, and just some quick personal tips. Replace sodas with water. Sodas can really make you gain weight. And it just keeps you more hydrated to drink water. (:
Add color to your diet. More veggies (leafy greens, peppers, anything vibrant and colorful is usually ridiculously good for you. (: ) and fruits. And when you start to crave a Snickers, eat an apple instead. (:
