If you faint, is it serious?!

Question: If you faint, is it serious?
In health class today we were watching a video, then all of a sudden my eye sight just went really funny. I couldn't see, it was all fuzzy, and my stomach went really weird. I was so hot & I was also sweating. I felt so weird & weak, it was a weird feeling to say the least. I knew something was wrong, so I went up to the teacher, and I don't remember much walking there. Next thing I know it I'm on the ground and I blacked out for a couple of seconds..

Why? I had food this morning, I had some water etc.. I have been feeling a bit down about life though :S

Answers:

Even if you don't think its serious, it potentially is I guess. I passed out once and i had to go to the doctor 3 times in a week and take two pee tests, compared to the time i had to get stitches and only had to go to the doctor twice in one month.

Fainating is serious. You could have had a mild stroke or heart attact or something. If you are female, you might have something going on during ovulation or right before your period. Maybe your eating habits aren't the best, and what you ate this morning didn't make a big difference.

See your Doctor ASAP.

Feeling down does tend to do that to you. It's happened to me before. Make sure you drink a lot of water and eat well all the time. If you're feeling down a lot, do your best to feel happy, it really makes a difference. But still, see a doctor.

I suggest you go to a doctor and ask him about it. :) Have a check-up.
