Cheat meal turned into binge weekend? In need of help bad. :(?!

Question: Cheat meal turned into binge weekend? In need of help bad. :(?
(I know it's kindof long but PLEASE READ)

I'm an athlete(note) and i workout regularly at the gym about 5-6 days a week.So Recently i lost about 25 pounds.. started last april. i'm 5'2 and weigh 100 now. i went from 125 to 100. I loved eating healthy. Nothing feels better! I ate healthy and clean for a very long time with no junk food.. but around christmas is when it went downhill. I hated watching everyone eat while i couldn't So i basically did my firts binge.. then the next day i worked out twice as hard in the gym and ate less. Then my birthday was in feb.. i binged out.. then i did the same thing.. Now its becoming harder and harder to stay on my diet. I try to eat super healthy because i'm an athlete and i like to stay slim and fit.. But it's getting to the point where i keep loosing weight and i'm not even trying. I do eat all healthy foods (oats egg whites fruits veggies fish lean meats low fat yogurts and cottage cheese) But when i try to have a "splurge" meal on the weekends it turns into an all out binge. Do you think i need to do something different with my diet? I know junk food is bad and we shouldn't consume it so much (sugar is so bad for an athlete) .. but i dint know what to do anymore. This cheat meal or relax weekend i try to do turns into binges to the point where i get sick. advice please?

Also anther thing i noticed... when i got around 108-110 for awhile i was fine.. and i didnt have these cravings and binge.. I'm thinking my body is too tiny now and isn't made to be this tiny.. and thats why im having these binges?

My stomach was very bloated and swollen monday and tuesday.... but its thur now and it's almost feels back to normal. Should i not do cheat meals anymore? Because it seems like whenever i try i go overboard... but if i dont do a cheatmeal for awhile i'm scared it will lead to anther binge.. i really don't know.

Answers:

I'm also 5'2" and I'm working on getting down to 100. (I started at 150, now I'm 131) I don't think 100 pounds is too tiny for our height, I think hunger and cravings are all in the mind, and especially if you haven't eaten sugar or starches in a while, and then you do, your brain's pleasure centers go crazy and all you want is MORE, MORE, MORE! (That's why so many people are fat, because it's easy to be fat and hard to be thin.)

I say stay away from the cheats!! Or you could buy low-calorie snack packs, or protein bars that are made to taste like chocolate/peanut butter/whatever your favorite flavor is.

Spread out your "treats" so you're not so inclined to "binge". Don't deprive yourself. I'm on a diet, but I'm losing weight slooooooooowly. The first thing I did was simply cut out caffeine -- and that was 13 years ago. And I made minor tweaks, slowly, since then. Skim milk, whole wheat instead of white bread, that sort of thing.

I still eat a snicker's bar when I feel like it. Does that mean I "binge"? No. Do I feel guilty? No.
