Question: Help mee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…
I am an athletic 13 year old girl that weighs around 135 lbs. i'm 5'7.5'' and I was wondering if this is a healthy weight. I would also like to know some good exercizes for your inner thighs, hips, and abs. Is there any way for me to lose 20 pounds by April 30?????? Please help me.

Answers:

Hi,
135 pounds is perfectly normal. I am 5'8'' ,15 years old, and weigh 132 pounds. I just started weight watches, and they stress eating healthy and moderate sizes is the MOST important thing!!! By cutting out sugar (including ALL sweets: baked goods, chocolate, etc) and focusing on eating more fruit and vegetables you become a healthier person and feel alot better. Losing weight is not impossible, however 20 pounds in less than 30 days is very risky. The most important thing when loosing weight is doing it gradually so you can actually keep it off. Plus, because our bodies are still maturing in adolescent years we have a harder time loosing weight if it is not weight we need to loose. Just remember the most important thing is how you feel, not how you look.

You're weight is perfectly healthy. It probably looks good on you, too. For abs, honestly simple things like crunches and planks work great. It would not be realistic or healthy for you to lose 20 pounds. I weight 109 and I am underfat, but I am also only 5'4". At 5'7.5" and 115 pounds, you would also be underfat, most likely. Just so you know, underfat is not the same as underweight. Underweight means that you do not weigh enough. Underfat means that your body fat percentage is too low. For a women, you are supposed to have 21% body fat at least, and I only have 11% body fat. If you wanted to lose a few pounds, just like maybe 5 or 10, you could always diet for a few weeks. There are 30 days until April 30th, not including today. So, that gives you a little over 4 weeks. 10 pounds is very possible for you. Work on mostly your abs, as this is what is going to make the biggest difference in how you feel about yourself. Your thighs are probably muscular (don't worry, mine are too). It really isn't anything to worry about, seeing as you are athletic. As for your hips, there is really nothing you can do to change the size of your hips. It sucks, I know, but you really can't change them. Good Luck to you.

Yes, your healthy! Hips lose weight with everything else, and your abs should get more toned by running and doing crunches.

Run more than you do or the gym if you look it up some gyms have days for young kids to go work out....
good luck :)
