Questions about the best workout routine for me...?!

Question: Questions about the best workout routine for me...?
im a 20 yr male. im pretty skinny. im 5'8 and 135 lbs. i have very low body fat but also very low muscle mass. i just started last week to workout routinely in hopes of increasing this muscle mass. right now im just doing core exercises. im doing a series of 50 push ups each night. (10 sets of regular, 10 sets with hands wide apart, 10 sets of triangles, 10 sets of knuckles, 10 sets of clapping) (i apologize for the incorrect terminology, like i said im new to this) anyway, im also doing various forms of sit ups (about 50 also a night), some leg work. (ex squats), some mild weight lifting for biceps and forearms (15 lbs dumbbells). im mostly looking to increase the size of my chest (pecs), forearms and biceps. i have decent abs and legs but my upper chest in non existent. my forearms also also very skinny. anyway i was wondering if anyone could help add/subtract from my routine...or should i keep it as it is? also, how long do you think until i could expect noticeable results?? any other tips? advice?

thanks!

(p.s. im also taking in extra protein in the form of protein powder shakes)

Answers:

at your weight and height 50 push ups a night is absolutely nothing at all. I weight about as much as you do and I do 100 in the morning and 100 at night along with my regular workout. If the push ups is your workout then I suggest doing 300-500 everyother day to get any results at all. Also sit ups won't get you a 6 pack but it just makes your core muscles stronger. If i were you I'd just buy p90x its an amazing program that uses muscle building technology to build muscles faster and you get the most out of yur money and time peace

im a wrestler...I know what works and what doesn't

in my opinion, i think you should consult with one of the trainers at a gym so that they can give you a better answer.
