Question: Help on p90x...is this normal?
I just started p90x and I thought it was going yo be easy, it's not!! But I'm a thin guy 148lbs and 6'0" I can do 35 push ups in all and 5 pull ups and 10 chin ups but when he repeats the work out I can barely do 10 push ups or even any pull ups or chin ups...but I try but can't I'm a male and use the chair is that shameful? Help

Answers:

HAHAH bud, I thought the same thing. I'm 6'4 298 and have a lot of muscle from sports, and am using this to get back into shape.. Just started week 2 yesterday, so it was my second time doing the Chest & Back workout.. DAMN it kicks your ***!! I usually do 15 pushups each set, 10 on the diamonds. Reverse pull ups I can do about 8, front grip I have to use the chair as well!!! I thought I would be able to do it as well, but I guess we both overestimated ourselves. But I mean that is only a good thing, it means we have a lot of improvement to gain from p90x! STICK WITH IT!!!

If your on day 2, like I am (but I'm on week 2) and you have plyometrics today... GOOD LUCK. Personally, I think it's harder than the Chest & Back. You will not be able to move your legs tomorrow lol!! But that's only a good thing, means your working hard and building muscle!

If you need a 'p90x partner' I'd be glad to chat with ya!! Remember, get that recovery drink in!!
