Question: Will drinking a big glass of water after you eat benefit you in any way?
Other than just hydrating you?

Answers:

No, it is not recommended.

Your stomach contains a strong acid to break down proteins, if you drink a big glass of water you will dilute this making it far less effective and you will probably get indigestion, gas, maybe heartburn.

It is best not to drink for at least 15 minutes before and after a meal, a little bit won't hurt but enough water, especially cold water wil slow reactions in your stomach and give you indigestion.
