Question: My weight is decreasing..:(?
i m a student,23 years old..my hieght is 5'4" n weight is 42 kg.i stay in college hostel where they provide very unhieginic food.I m a vegetarian so here more than 90% students r non-veg so it becomes too hard 4 me to eat at a place where every one is eating flesh.coz before comming to here i had never ever seen any non-veg food in real i mean i used to see then only in pics or in TV.so here i eat almost 1/5 th of my appetite.so most of the time i become ill n i m gettin weaker day by day..my weight is decreasing day by day.i have tries to eat more but i can't swallow more than i eat here even if i try then i vomit.i eat fruits but only fruits can do nothing ..please somebody suggest me what should i do??

You should see your school nurse or go to the hospital. I don't know if your college offers some place where you can cook food, but it seems like you should invest in a hot plate so you can learn to cook vegetarian food. Schools should always offer a veg meal plan if that's how your college is ran. Either way, you should really speak to the people who work at the cafeteria and see if there's any way they could help you.

Also, going to the nurse or the doctor is going to help you. What's probably happening to you is that you're not getting enough protein, iron, and vitamins in your meals which might be reason you keep falling ill and losing weight. Going to a doctor will ensure you that you're not seriously ill and it's the only way you will find some peace in your situation
