Will the body recover and get fresh again after long years overtrainig?!

Question: Will the body recover and get fresh again after long years overtrainig?
or the endocrine glands will get permanantly destroyed?im asking about bodybuilding training.

Answers:

I don't understand why you would ask about your glands in relation to over-training. You glands won't be destroyed or harmed assuming you're talking about over-training for muscular hypertrophy. As for your muscles, they'll adjust with ease. Muscle tissue is the most adaptable material in the body.

Over-training is not a problem for your muscles. They don't care if you over train as they're just as happy if they're not big as they are if they are big. In other words, over-training is not bad for muscles. It's only bad for your desire to make them grow. And, to make them grow you'll need to allow more recovery time between workouts for each muscle group as you become older and/or more well trained.

A newbie bodybuilder can train every other day. However, an old person like me (age 60) who's been training all his life must allow 5 days or more between workouts for each muscle group.

Over training is probably the biggest mistake newbie bodybuilders make because the credulous and naive tend to think more is always better. Check the first set of every exercise in your routine and if you have not improved something (one more rep or half rep or better form, etc), you may be over training. Pay attention to under performing muscle groups and if there's no progress for three weeks try adding another day of rest (recovery time) between workouts for that muscle group. It's also good to change your routine from time to time. Keep your program fresh and fun. Experiment and note the results. Modifying and building in variations will help you build a more well rounded physique and prevent adaptation and over-training. Done properly, bodybuilding is hard work so take a vacation from it every few months to keep yourself dynamic and psyched and to avoid stagnation and monotony.

There is a 65 year old woman and a 70 year old guy both racked with arthritic pain bedridden with it weak and they took up weight training they're both superstar body builders now check out their pic's on the net but remember weight training is a lifestyle choice if you stop all them muscles go to flab and fat real quick so you have to be 100% committed for life otherwise choose something else like dance or swimming and jogging or an exercise class and stay on a healthy diet too with a multi vitamin swiss formula is the best Hugs granny M x

yes, just make sure u eat right and get 8 hours of sleep everynight. your body repairs itself the most when u sleep!

every year it's best to take a month off and every 3 months take a week off to avoid over training.
