Is it safe to lose 15 lbs. in a month?!

Question: Is it safe to lose 15 lbs. in a month?
Trying to achieve my 60 lbs. weight loss goal by August and I was wondering, is it safe to only eat 1200 calories, exercise lightly for 7 hours? The website says its fine, but just wanted to run it by everyone.
So is it OK to lose 15 lbs. in a month? If not, what is a safe amount of weight to lose?

Thanks!

MJ, haven't you been doing this a while? Maybe it's time to adjust how you're going about things, or did you just start late. Sooner is better than later. I think you can still do it, but 15 lbs a month is going to take a lot of will power and you absolutely must cut out all the junk food. Stay away from fried food and sweets. Drink lots of water. "diet" isn't really good when it comes to food because of the artificial sweeteners and chemicals so don't rely on "low fat" or "diet" type of foods too much. Make sure you're eating properly and in moderation and keep exercising.

The most I've lost in a month is 10 pounds, so yeah, you could probably lose 15 in a month. 7 hours of exercise seems like a lot, but I know that on all those weight loss shows the people work out pretty much allllll day longgggg. Just make sure your getting enough nutrients, and don't push yourself too far!
